The idea was to make a stackable round stool, that could be dismantled to be flat packed. The legs are attached to the side of the seat with a thin sheet of laser cut steel, inspired by the strapping bands used to attach packages on a pallets. This metal band prevents the legs from pivoting while suggesting movement (being itself oriented at 10degrees) This "mechanical imbalance" a priori incompatible with the construction of a stool initiates a new logic in the dynamics created and the movement suggested. TWIST is also a game on the specificities and complementarity of materials.
