At first glance, rather organic, inspired by nature , the starting point of the chair, however, was a very pragmatic game of triangulation and stress distribution. Starting from a profile with a reverted Y shape, like many folding chairs, the objective was to design a stackable chair, easy to produce , feasible by cutting (without resorting to bending) and thus remain within reasonable sections of wood but also focussed on comfort.
Each side of the chair is composed of three pieces of wood slightly " oriented ", with large contact surfaces between eachother to provide strength to the whole. The backrest, in plywood, is the main point of assembly between the two sides, it gives a slight tilt (2degrees) and largely ensures the rigidity of the assembly, attended by an aluminum frame under the seat (also in plywood).
TREE is easily adaptable as stool, low chair, etc. --- It is also suitable for public places to be displayed in rows.
